Meaning:- the form of business organisation are related with ownership and ownership is a legal concept which determines the authority and responsibility of the owner. the authority and responsibility of the owner keep on changing alongwith the changing forms of owner.

1. Private sector:- it refer to the sector of business consisting of business owned by private individual or group.

  • Sole proprietorship:- an indicated by its name there is only one owner of such a business. he invests capital and manage it.
  • Joint Hindu family business:- when a business enterprises is run by the people belonging to the same family and they run the business as a family business, it is called joint Hindu family business.
  • Partnership:- under partnership firm two or more two people invests their capital and run some business on the basis of contract and share its profit and loss.
  • Joint venture:- under this firm of business organization two or  more than two people (there is no maximum limit of number) jointly run some particular business temporarily and all the co- venture divide the profit and loss according to the pre-determined ratio.
